Our first Qlik meetup event will be on March 14th here in Atlanta. Claudia and I are excited to have Joseph Hale and Chris Ilacqua to speak at the event.
Simply put, literacy means having ability to read and write. Data literacy means having ability to read, understand and argue with data. Abundance of information is not sufficiency of knowledge so data literacy is a skill that will fill the gap between abundance of information and scarcity of insight driven actions. Let’s learn nuances of data literacy from Joseph.
Many of you, including myself, who are die-hard QlikView fan want to know the fate of the product and the future road map. Chris is coming to Atlanta to address just that.
Qlik Sense keeps getting better with every release. And so does data manager. I will show you cool features of data manager so that you can build a data model without writing a single line of script.
Needless to say that you have excellent opportunity to network with other Qlik users and experts in Atlanta areas so please RSVP soon.

7-7:30PM – The QlikView Journey – Chris Ilacqua

This session will include topics like; Dual Use licensing, 2019 Roadmap, future plans for QlikView running on the Qlik Multi-Cloud and provide feedback on product prioritization.
7:30-8:15PM – Visual Data Preparation with Data Manager – Shilpan Patel
One of the most powerful features of Qlik Sense self-service is its Data Manager. Data Manager visually guides a user through the process of adding and preparing data to be analyzed in Qlik Sense. Qlik Sense already offers a very robust, intuitive Data Manager view, which allows users to load in data and use Qlik Sense and its Qlik Indexing Engine (QIX) engine to make the appropriate associations and profile the data.
Shilpan will walk through all of the available capabilities of the data manager to show you how quickly you can build a data model using visual transformations without writing a single line of script in Qlik Sense.
** Food and Drinks will be served before and during the event.
